WHO ARE THE BLANCHARDS?
Will and Amy met while studying at Oklahoma
Christian University, and last fall they celebrated six years of marriage. Will
enjoyed his time at OC so much that he accepted a position there after
graduation and now works in the university's Advancement office. In addition to
her full time job, Amy works to create all sorts of crafts from greeting cards
to headbands to stuffed animals. They are active in their church congregation.
Will frequently teaches Bible class and leads Bible studies, Amy helps
coordinate ladies' fellowship activities, and they both participate in the
Children's Bible Hour program. They are
avid readers who love movies, game nights, and spending time with their
families and friends.
WHY SHOULD WE HELP?
As close friends of the
Blanchards, we have witnessed the longing they have for a child and the love
they are ready to share. We want to help
this deserving couple realize their dream of a family of their own.
But this isn’t just about
helping our friends.

For Christians, this cause becomes even more compelling. The Bible instructs us to care for widows and orphans; Jesus commands us to teach the Good News of God’s love to everyone. By helping bring a child into a loving Christian family, we can do both at once!
